Can the plan be changed after the first billing cycle?

Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated from the date of the change. Downgrades apply at the start of the next billing cycle to ensure there is no interruption to active strategies running under the current tier's limits.

Is there a free trial or a sandbox environment?

Every new account has access to a fully functional sandbox for 14 days at no cost. The sandbox connects to broker test environments rather than live markets, so all features — including the risk-control enforcement layer — can be evaluated without any capital at risk.

Are there any per-trade or commission-based fees on top of the subscription?

No. The Collective charges one flat monthly subscription with no per-trade fees, no data surcharges, and no volume tiers. Broker commissions are set entirely by your chosen broker and are outside The Collective's pricing structure.
